This policy details the cookies and equivalent technologies used on www.aplan.eng.br. It complements the Privacy Policy, which covers the wider picture.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Some are indispensable for the page to work; others measure audience. Equivalent technologies, such as local storage, are treated here in the same way.
This site uses very little of it: no advertising cookies, no social network pixels, no embedded maps or videos.
02Necessary — always on
Without this record it would be impossible to remember your own cookie choice. It does not identify you.

03Analytics — only with your consent
These only come into existence after you click "Accept". If you refuse, or make no decision, the Google script is never downloaded.

The Google Analytics property used by APLAN runs with 14-month data retention, with advertising features (Google Signals) disabled and no ad personalisation.
04Legal basis
Necessary cookies rely on legitimate interests (art. 7, IX of the LGPD; art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and are exempt from prior consent because they are strictly necessary (art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).
Analytics cookies depend on your freely given, informed and unambiguous consent. Refusing does not limit any functionality of the site.
05How to manage your choice
Use the button below to review your preferences whenever you want. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting: when you switch the analytics category off, Google cookies already stored are deleted from this browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because your choice is stored in this browser, clearing the site data will bring the banner back, and switching browser or device will require a new decision.
06Global Privacy Control signal
If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies: they are disabled automatically and the banner is not displayed. You can still change that choice through the preferences button.
07Third-party services outside this site
The WhatsApp button takes you away from aplan.eng.br. From the moment the conversation starts, processing is carried out by Meta under its own policies — this site neither controls nor receives cookies from that service.
Links to partner, event and industry association sites are likewise outside the scope of this policy. Read the policy of each destination.
08Changes
Whenever we add a new technology that requires consent, we will update this list and ask for your permission again.
